A heartfelt thanks to all the hardworking volunteers who give their energy and time and the many sponsors who make the Sea Fair possible year after year. This year special thanks goes to Darlene Rekve and Carol Hamilton for the ‘heart’ that goes into keeping this Powell River tradition alive.

Powell River Sea Fair, a tradition since 1963, brings together the community for fun in the sun in the last weeks of July.  There are contests before and during the big weekend, a variety of entertainment, local vendor displays, and a carnival. Fireworks on Saturday night followed by a family day on Sunday, with activities focused on the little ones, rounds out the weekend with a bang.
